Island Mode Print E-mail

In many cases, the mains failure cost a lot of money and time in the industry. CHP can work for supplying electricity to the object, working alone, without the grid in Emergency mode or so called Island mode.

Such an installation is monitoring all parameters of the grid (presence, overload, frequency, balance, vector jump, power factor, etc..) and if there is a problem with some of them for the time, bigger than 2 msec. it switch off the grid with motor breaker and  feed the object alone with electricity. Total blind time can be up to 70 msec.

Important: The Island mode is possible if the load is not smaller than 30% of the nominal power of the CHP and not bigger than 90-95% of that nominal power.
